Getting Wedding Ready – Beauty Treatment Essentials

Recently engaged or planning your big day and want to look your best? You might need to start sooner than you think.

Let us take care of you through your wedding prep journey.

Fresh skin

A whole day where all eyes are on you! The idea could be daunting or make you feel self conscious, especially if you suffer from breakouts or other skin concerns. But we cater for all skin types and offer various treatments to treat all skin conditions.

For treating major skin concerns we would recommend starting regular treatments at least 6-8 weeks prior to your big day. The sooner you start to look after your skin, the better your results will be. Our Resurface and Peel treatment or our Bee Peel are fantastic for treating deeper layers and getting dramatic results.

Even if you don’t have any major concerns with your skin, a facial or 2 beforehand can really brighten your skin and prepare it for makeup.

Overall Cost: £33 – £225

Nails

Whether you’re the bride or groom, with a new piece of bling on your finger, everyone will be wanting a glimpse your hands.

If your nails are already in good condition, a simple manicure a day or two before will absolutely be ok, but if you have chewed, weak or damaged nails, it’s best to book a few nail appointments spaced a couple of weeks apart before the wedding day so we can help grow and nurture them to full health.

We love a pale pink, nude or French Tip for neutral wedding vibes!

Overall Cost £25 – £105

Pedicure

Your dress may well cover the majority of your feet, but if you have open-toed shoes, your toes may poke out slightly when you walk. It may be worth booking a pedicure so your feet are looking their best.

Overall cost £27 – £40

Waxing

For smoothness that lasts, you may want to think about waxing. It’s just one less thing to think about on Wedding Day morning and for the rest of the Honeymoon.

If you usually shave, we recommend leaving your hair to grow out for a few weeks and beginning to get regular waxes around 3 months before. This will ensure you get a smooth finish on the day.

If you don’t usually shave but want to be hair-free on the day, we’d recommend a trial around 5-6 weeks before incase of any adverse reactions.

Book your pre-wedding appointment 2-3 days before the big day to give the skin time to recover.

Overall cost £10-£100 per appointment

Lashes

With all the photos taken on the day, you may want to enhance your natural lashes. It’s completely personal choice but even the most natural extensions can make a huge difference to making you look and feel your best.

We offer a wide range of extensions and also a lash lift which lifts and tints your natural lashes for a no make look. (These are perfect for the honeymoon!)

We recommend having a trial before the day, perhaps for a hen do or other special occasion if you haven’t had extensions done before. Our lash techs are very experienced in tailoring lash sets to the individual and almost always get it right first time but if we need to, we can always make changes for the final edit.

NB: a patch test is required at least 24hrs before any lash treatment.

Overall cost £100-120

Relax

Finally, after all the planning over several months and sometimes years you need some TLC before you walk down the aisle.

When the last few finishing touches are done, why not book a massage to help unwind and clear away any thoughts of family drama or random things that could go wrong.

If you have had lash extensions done already, you may want to skip the back massage and go for a Conditioning Scalp Massage to avoid squashing your lashes. This will also nourish your hair and give it shine. (Make sure you leave time to wash it.).

Overall cost £30-60
